Located in a charming area, this ryokan offers convenient access to the snow monkey park, narrow alleys, and the train station, all for free. The rooms are spacious, with comfortable futon beds and hot water and tea facilities. Guests can enjoy a traditional breakfast brought up to their room every morning. The on-site onsen is a highlight, with a lovely outdoor setting and private toilet facilities. The owners provide exceptional service, including pick-up and drop-off services and a warm, friendly atmosphere.
The ryokan lacks private showers, but this is a common trait in traditional onsens.

We had an exceptional stay at a lovely ryokan in a peaceful village. The owner went above and beyond to ensure our comfort and convenience. They picked us up from the train station, drove us to the Snow Monkey Park, and even provided keys to the public onsens in the area. Our traditional Japanese-style room was spacious and beautifully decorated. The private outdoor onsen was a highlight of our stay. Despite a few minor drawbacks like limited parking and non-private showers, we highly recommend this ryokan for its excellent service, hospitality, and tranquil atmosphere. it was a wonderful experience.

I had a fantastic stay at Daymaruya Ryokan. The owners were incredibly friendly and helpful, making my experience even more enjoyable. The location was great, with a nearby public car park and easy access to the town. The cleanliness and spaciousness of the accommodation were impressive, and having my own private toilet was a bonus. The onsen facilities, including the private outdoor onsen, were a delight, especially when it snowed. I loved the traditional style of the room and the comfortable futons. The WiFi worked well, and the provided transfers to and from Yudanaka Station were much appreciated. a wonderful experience.
Can't recommend this hotel highly enough.
